Cadogan Hall is delighted to welcome back the Czech National Symphony Orchestra – one of the most popular orchestras in Europe. In two concerts this season they are conducted by Petr Altrichter, one of the Czech Republic’s most distinguished conductors, who made an impressive name through his dynamic and insightful interpretations of Czech, Russian and German symphonic repertoire.

Since becoming Prize Laureate of the Honens Prize for Piano in 2012 and becoming one of BBC Radio 3’s New Generation Artists young pianist Pavel Kolesnikov has performed around the world.

The two Czech National Symphony Orchestra programmes feature two of Schubert’s most lyrical symphonies, Beethoven’s iconic Fourth and Fifth Piano Concertos, and Dvorák’s much-loved Seventh and Ninth Symphonies.

The second Czech National Symphony Orchestra concert is on Wednesday 18 April, with soloist Barry Douglas.
