Corona Baroque Ensemble and Choros perform Bach's St John Passion in Oxford

The acclaimed chamber choir Choros joins Corona Baroque for this period instrument performance in German of Johann Sebastian Bach’s moving and dramatic account of the Passion of Christ according to St John. With a brilliant line-up of soloists, this is sure to be the highlight of the season for Bach enthusiasts.

One of Oxford's best loved ensembles, Corona Strings, formed in 2012, is a professional string orchestra based mainly in and around the city and known as a flexible and vibrant ensemble which includes a fine group of ‘period’ instrument players at its core - Corona Baroque Ensemble under Leader, Miranda Walton.
