Come and Sing - Messiah

Come and join in a workshop for singers that will centre on parts 2 and 3 of Handel's Messiah. Whether you are familiar with this work or it is new to you, this will be a wonderful opportunity to rehearse and perform with one of the Midlands' best amateur choirs.

James Foulds, the choir's associate conductor, is at the centre of Derby's music community. He has a lifetime's experience of choral music, from cathedral choirs to light opera, both as a singer and as a conductor.

Tom Corfield is one of the area's most outstanding and widely-respected organists, who works regularly with Derby Bach Choir as an accompanist.

The performance will be at 6pm and will be followed at approx 7:15pm with a Royal Celebration Supper in the Hall (in recognition of the Royal Wedding taking place earlier that day).
