  1. Mass in B minor BWV 232 - Johann Sebastian Bach

The highlight of the Cheltenham Bach Choir’s 2018 Spring Festival of the Baroque will be JS Bach’s monumental Mass in B minor. This pinnacle of the choral repertoire follows last year's magnificent performance of Bach’s St Matthew Passion. The choir will again be joined by the Baroque ensemble The Musical and Amicable Society - some of the best Baroque players in the country. And there will be a stellar line-up of soloists: soprano Lauren Lodge-Campbell, the first winner of Cheltenham Bach Choir's singing competition, is joined by mezzo-soprano Angela Simkin (recently starring at the Royal Opera House), ENO principal tenor David Webb, and baritone Christopher Cull, all under the baton of Cheltenham Bach Choir Music Director David Crown.
