The Dream of Gerontius | Phoenix Choir of Crawley

Phoenix Choir will be performing Elgar's seminal oratorio, The Dream of Gerontius at The Hawth in Crawley on 24th March 2018 in the run-up to Easter. Based on the poem of the same name by John Henry Newman, this choral masterpieces explores the emotional and spiritual journey taken by Gerontius as he passes from life into death and the world beyond, to come face-to-face with God.

There is also a workshop for selected passages of this work, held on 3rd February 2018 10am - 4pm at Crawley Baptist Church, Crabtree road, Crawley, W. Sussex RH11 7HJ with music on hire for £3 and £15 to attend the workshop or £35 to attend future rehearsals and sing at the concert.
