Amaury Coeytaux returns to the Norwich based Academy of St Thomas after his stunning performance of the Brahms Violin Concerto in 2016. The orchestra is delighted that he is coming to play the Beethoven Violin Concerto.

After 33 years Christopher Adey, principal guest conductor will be conducting the Academy of St Thomas for the final time. There can be few entirely self-funded orchestras which exist for the sheer love of music, yet sustain such a strong relationship with an internationally-recognised conductor. The Academy of St Thomas is very grateful for his dedication and commitment over such a long period.

The concert concludes with the magnificent Symphony No 9 by Schubert - a great favourite with the players.
