Thaxted Festival: Christopher Weston (piano) and friends

A journey through the rich musical landscapes of early twentieth century Paris: impressionism, eroticism, expressionism, café culture, tango and the beginnings of jazz. Christopher Weston combines immense skills as a pianist and accompanist with a growing reputation as a composer. Jeffery Wilson is a renowned saxophonist who works across the boundaries of musical genres. Canadian-born Catherine May has sung with English National Opera and at the National Theatre. All three artists demonstrate the talent which resides today in our county of Essex.
