  1. Songs of Travel - Ralph Vaughan Williams

David Jones is cycling from John O'Groats to Land's End. His project is called 'Song Cycle' and along the way he is giving concerts at various venues.

Bledington Music Festival is pleased to give him a venue. The concert will be free but there will be a retiring collection for Live Music Now, a charity which seeks to send musicians out into the community to perform particularly for older people and children with special educational needs.

Fittingly, he will perform Vaughan Williams's Songs of Travel along with songs by composers from the area in which he finds himself. Perhaps we can expect some Finzi or Ivor Gurney or Howells?

Coffee will be served from 10am and the concert will begin at 11am.
