The final concert of the North Wiltshire Orchestra 2017-2018 season is a delightful journey through the music of Britain and France. Become immersed in Edward Elgar's beautiful song cycle, Sea Pictures; experience local musician and composer Kevin Riley's evocative World War One commemorative piece, In Flanders Filelds. Join Malcolm Arnold in his exploration of Cornwall and its people in his Four Cornish Dances; experience the passion of George Bizet's Carmen Suite number one. Finally put on your hats and get out your flags and prepare to join the singing for the best of British in a celebration of numbers from The Last Night of the Proms as arranged by Peter Lawson from Henry Woods favourites.
