The 2018 Hatfield House Chamber Music Festival continues to explore the theme 'Brahms and Friends'. In this concert there is a wonderful mix of song and chamber music, including lieder from Clara Schumann and two songs by Brahms texts of Felix Schumann (their youngest son, named after Felix Mendelssohn, God-son of Brahms). Resident artists the Aronowitz ensemble finish the programme with a Brahms piano quartet.

Pre-concert talk by David Nice* 7.25pm.

*David Nice replaces Stephen Johnson, who is indisposed.
