  1. Ein deutsches Requiem (A German Requiem) Op 45 - Johannes Brahms

The 2018 Hatfield House Chamber Music Festival's exploration of 'Brahms and Friends' concludes with his first major composition, written when he was only in his thirties and before his four symphonies. Performed here in German, with the 'chamber' forces of the Faust Chamber Orhestra and members of the Hertforshire Chorus, this concert will be a fitting finale programme to a weekend of music-making at Hatfield House.
