Smetana’s moving Evening Songs are complemented by songs by Dvorák, including his passionate Gypsy Songs and a selection of the Moravian Duets for two female voices. Caitlin Hulcup and Christopher Glynn will already be well known to Oxford audiences, while Harriet Burns can be heard again later in the Festival as a winner of the 2018 Oxford Lieder Young Artist Platform.
