The Rodolfus Choir, one of the finest youth choirs in the country, directed by Ralph Allwood MBE is coming to perform a concert in memory of Nicholas Howard of Johnby Hall who died in 2008. Nicholas himself hosted the Rodolfus Choir at Greystoke twenty years ago for a sell-out concert.

The Rodolfus Choir is one part of a charitable foundation which educates and supports young singers - hundreds of children and young people take part in the Eton Choral Courses and Junior Choral Courses every year. The Rodolfus Choir itself has been a training ground for many of the country’s top professional musicians – and not only singers: graduates of the choir include conductors such as Edward Gardner, who is now a patron of the choir, and the Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne.

The concert at Greystoke will be raising funds for two charities: the Rodolfus Foundation, and Hospice at Home.

There is also a Meet the Singers reception at Greystoke Castle at 5pm - further details see here
