  3. Requiem Op 48 - Gabriel Fauré

A fantastic evening of stunning choral music awaits culminating in the astonishingly beautiful Requiem by Gabriel Fauré. Also featured in the concert are Bob Chilcott's setting of the magical fables of Aesop, a slave and storyteller believed to have lived in ancient Greece and a new cantata on the life of St David by our Music Director, Edward-Rhys Harry.

There will be refreshments for sale at the interval and proceeds from that and a retiring collection will be in aid of Catching Lives.

Catching Lives is an independent charity aimed at supporting the rough sleepers, homeless and vulnerably housed in Canterbury and East Kent; those who have, for many reasons, fallen through the gaps in society and feel they have nowhere else to turn.
