For the grand finale concert of this autumn's Windsor Festival, the Windsor and Eton Choral Society are joining forces with three other local choirs - Taplow Youth Choir, Voci Chamber Choir and Quire Voices to present two of the finest and best-known works ever composed for voice.

Joined by the iconic Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the concert opens with Mozart’s Coronation Mass, brimming with wonderful vocal melodies, most notably the beautifully moving Agnus Dei for solo soprano.

Rounding the evening off, they will perform Beethoven’s magnificent Symphony No 9 - the first three movements demonstrate superb orchestral writing, but the entire piece is crowned by the addition of chorus and soloists for the glorious Ode to Joy.
