Opera North’s Principal Percussionist Chris Bradley reunites former students of the University of Huddersfield from the last 30 years, all professional percussionists, to perform a programme centres around Steve Reich’s Six Marimbas and to include the aptly-titled Music for Pieces of Wood, plus some arrangements of well-known melodies taken from the Musser Marimba Orchestra's 1920s repertoire.
