After her unforgettable debut with Stockport Symphony Orchestra last year, Jennifer is back with nother romantic masterpiece for violin, this time by Korngold. Famous for his film music, Korngold’s violin concerto has also quickly become a firm favourite with audiences and performers. So how do you follow that? With probably the biggest tunes and most romantic themes in all of symphonic history, Rachmaninov’s second. If you’ve never heard the sumptuous, glowing ending of this work, think of his second piano concerto then double it!
