On the 100th anniversary of the 1st World War armistice, this remembrance themed concert features a world premier of a Hertford Symphony Orchestra commission:
Adam Saunders's ‘Beacons burn’ with texts from Housman’s ‘A Shropshire Lad as well as an orchestrated setting of Bernard Hughes's 'Perhaps' with words by Vera Brittain, both set for young voices. The concert will feature choirs from Presdales and Richard Hale Schools.
