A trio of top musicians will join Absolute Classics for the November issue of their monthly classical concert series.

Setting the highest of standards and establishing themselves as one of the leading chamber ensembles in the UK, the international award-winning Fournier Trio have been described as having “awesome but restrained technical ability and chamber-music antennae” Classical Source.

Last season performances included major London recitals at St John’s Smith Square, The Purcell Room and Wigmore Hall. The trio made their first visit to the Far East making debuts and giving masterclasses at Singapore’s Yong Siew Toh Conservatory ‘Ones to Watch’ Series, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, and the brand new Eslite Performance Hall in Taipei.

Absolute Classics’ Director Alex McQuiston says of the group, “It’s a great joy to be able to work with musicians of the calibre of the Fournier Trio. They will be delivering two great programmes of music over four concerts across the region that I know will be memorable performances.”

The trio will perform a selection of well known works, including pieces by Beethoven, Brahms, and the famous ‘Dumky’ trio by Dvorák. A real treat for the ears!
