Join conductor, Calum Fraser, and members of Streatham Choral to develop your vocal skills and sing your heart out to choruses from Handel's timeless Messiah. We are very excited to be taking over the entirety of the Streatham Space Project so expect an amazing atmosphere!
The vocal development section of the day will focus on the finer skills that singers don't always have time to cover at weekly rehearsals. Whatever your singing level, our workshops are tailored for you - whether you are brand new to singing or have been singing for years! Singers will rotate round each of three workshops: voice coaching, small consort singing and music theory. Improve your ability to sing, to read music and sing in harmony with our professionals.
The afternoon Come and Sing will take place in the main auditorium and will be a selection of rousing choruses from the Messiah under Calum Fraser’s direction.
The day will conclude with a free informal performance at which friends and family are welcome. There will be a retiring collection in aid of Streatham Choral Society.

1.30 pm - Come and Sing Registration
2 pm - Come and sing Handel’s Messiah
5 pm - Informal performance
Music will be provided subject to a £5 deposit. Tickets available online, or on the door.
The Streatham Space Project bar will be serving all day and cake will be provided for Come & Sing participants. Lunch is not included but there are lots of good eateries and shops around or you are welcome to bring a packed lunch with you on the day.
