Concordia Voices is a professionally directed, amateur chamber choir of approximately thirty voices. Its repertoire spans over four centuries, from the Renaissance to the present day, and includes a wide range of sacred and secular music. Jack Apperley, the conductor, has just been awarded Second Prize at the inaugural London International Choral Conducting Competition.

In this 'Concert for Peace' the main work will be Duruflé's Requiem, with shorter works by composers ranging from Mendelssohn to William Harris and William Petter. The music will be interleaved with readings by members of the Richmond Shakespeare Society from poets including Siegfried Sassoon, TS Eliot, and Ted Hughes.
