If you're looking for a romantic candlelit experience - or simply want to enjoy some classical music greats in a gorgeous setting - then this is the concert for you. UK based chamber orchestra London Concertante regularly performs up to and over one hundred concerts per year, making it the busiest ensemble of its kind in the country. With their numerous recordings reaching great critical acclaim, the ensemble is continually regarded as one of the finest groups in Europe since its founding in 1991.

Indulge in the masterworks of three of the most revered baroque composers of all time - Vivaldi, Telemann, and Bach. A composer who is famed for his string writing, Vivaldi’s playful and effervescent style shines through in ‘Spring’ and ‘Summer,’ from his iconic ‘Four Seasons.’ Two of his exuberant and exciting double concerti continue the program, before we are treated to Telemann’s ‘Viola Concerto’ - the first known viola concerto ever to be composed. All of this before the Concerto for 2 violins by JS Bach, with its beautifully subtle slow movement and it’s virtuosic finale, completes the program. For classical music lovers and casual listeners alike - this promises to be a truly special evening.

If you don’t consider yourself ‘in the know’ about Mozart, Beethoven, or Bach, fear not, this is the orchestra for you. The ensemble boasts an audience record in which an impressive 50% of spectators are first-time classical concert goers! The London Concertante has its audience laughing at jokes, gasping at virtuosity, moved by gorgeous playing, and leaving with a smile on their faces.
