Danilo Mascetti is an Italian pianist, C. Bechstein Scholar at the Royal College of Music of London. He regularly performs as soloist all over Europe, with orchestras such us Pomeriggi Musicali, Philarmonic Orchestra 'Miahil Jora', Symphonic State Orchestra of Craiova. In 2014 he performed in China and Japan, in 2015 he debuted in London for Aspect Foundation, in Prague with the West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra and in Rome with the Nova Amadeus Orchestra. In 2016 he debuted in Hungary, Morocco and America, with the NYCA Symphony Orchestra, for New York Concert Artists; in 2017 he debuted in Thessaloniki Megaro Musiki with the Thessaloniki State Orchestra. During this last season he performs in Russia, Romania, Czech Republic, Italy and England, with orchestras such ASF Orchestra and Philharmonic Orchestra Hradec Králové, and during the fall he tours with the program 'Mozart in Italia' with the violinist F Fontanelli. Engagement during spring will include Beethoven 2nd Piano Concerto with UniMI Orchestra, Bach with ASFestival Orchestra, Liszt 2nd Piano Concerto with RCM Chamber Orchestra. He studied with Vincenzo Balzani, Natalia Trull and Vsevolod Dvorkin, and he is currently student of Vanessa Latarche and Gordon Fergus – Thompson. He gained international reputation becoming laureate of competitions as 'Princesse Lalla Meryem' in Rabat, 'Gyorgios Thymis' in Greece, 'Chopin' in Rome, 'Pianotalents', 'E. Pozzoli' in Seregno, 'F Liszt' in Grottamare. During his studies he was supported by the Ann Driver Trust, the Music Talks Award, the INPDAD Italian awards.
Involved from an early age with his parents and his family in the care of foster children, Danilo Mascetti has worked since 2015 with non-profit organizations of Lombardy in the management of the charity musical project 'Arte Solidale Festival'; all the proceeds from this festival go to help minors in need.
