Inoko Isobe (oboe) is currently in her second year of postgraduate study at the Guildhall School, where she is the LSO Japan Scholar, studying with Gordon Hunt and Timothy Rundle.
Born into a musical family in Takasaki City in Japan, Inoko completed her undergraduate studies in Cultural Sciences at Waseda University. Before moving to Europe, Inoko studied oboe with Mikao Hagimori and Mika Komiyama, and was the recipient of Young Artist Awards in both Gumma and Takasaki City. Inoko won the first prize at Crowther’s Oboe Competition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Recent professional engagements include periods as Principal Oboe with both the National Philharmonic of the Republic of Moldova and with Brasov Philharmonic Orchestra.
Canadian violinist Lyrit Milgram recently graduated with distinction from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London where she was a Brian George Coker scholar studying under Professor Krysia Osostowicz. Lyrit is an active soloist and chamber musician and in these capacities, she has played in concert halls in London such as the Barbican Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Wigmore Hall and Cadogan Hall as well as others in Europe, Asia, North and South America. As an orchestral player, Lyrit has played with top orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, the English Chamber Orchestra, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestral, the Welsh National Opera, the Royal Northern Sinfonia and the Scottish Ensemble and has toured as principal second violin with the Orchestra of the Americas in South America and the Carribean and most recently with the Pacific Music Festival in Japan and with the Lucerne Festival Academy Orchestra in Switzerland, Germany and France. Previously, Lyrit did her Bachelor degree at the Royal College of Music in London where she was a Soirée D’or and Dasha Shenkman scholar. She studied there with Professors Radu Blidar and Itzhak Rashkovsky.
Polish violist Kinga Wojdalska is a winner of numerous national viola solo competitions awards including: Szczecin, Wroclaw, Gdansk. She is also a prize winner of national and international chamber music competitions. Born in Poland, graduated from Zenon Brzewski High School in Warsaw in 2017, where she was studying viola under the direction of Professor Stefan Kamasa. Currently she is a student of the Royal College of Music in London in Nathan Braude’s class with a Trustees of the Henry Wood Accommodation Trust scholarship. As a young musician she performed internationally at venues including philharmonic halls in Warsaw, Bydgoszcz, Krakow; National Polish Radio Studio in Warsaw; Kings Place in London; Musikverein in Vienna and Jordan Hall in Boston. She has performed with musicians including Yuri Bashmet, David Guerrier, Bonian Tian and Janusz Wawrowski. Besides solo and chamber performance, orchestra is also a very important part of her life. Since 2016 she has been organizing Polish youth chamber orchestra ‘Chamber N-Harmony’.
Cellist Tamaki Sugimoto performs extensively across the UK, Europe and Japan. She is a recipient of various prizes including The Wolfson Foundation Instrumental Award, The Kobe International Music Competition (2nd prize), North London Festival’s D’Addario Strings Prize and All Japan Arts Competition (1st prize). Her recent concert venues include Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, Konzerthaus Berlin as well as Tokyo Bunka Kaikan and as a passionate chamber musician, she has appeared with artists such as Yura Lee, David Quiggle, Julian Jacobson, Lisanne Soeterbroek and Leonid Gorokhov. Her orchestral experience includes working with the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival Orchestra (Germany), Nagaokakyo Chamber Ensemble (Japan) and she is also a recipient of London Symphony Orchestra’s Strings Scheme 2018-19. Her growing interest in contemporary music has lead to collaborations with An Assembly and Apartment House at London Contemporary Music Festival, which has been recorded for BBC Radio 3.
Having previously graduated from the Yehudi Menuhin School and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, she is currently studying with Melissa Phelps at the Royal College of Music where she holds The Linbury Scholarship.
