  3. Piano Trio No 1 in B flat D 898; Op 99 - Franz Schubert

Composer and Royal Academy of Music professor David Knotts’ arrangement of Ravel provides the centrepiece for the Minerva Trio’s appearance at Conway Hall. Clara Schumann’s G minor trio also gets a rare outing, before Schubert’s evergreen B flat trio concludes the evening’s programme.

The Ethical Society at War: How World War One changed the South Place Sunday Concerts.

Unlike at many other venues in London during WW1, the concert series at South Place chapel in some ways thrived during these challenging years. Jessica Beck will look at how the concerts supported Britain's allies, the effect it had on the gender balance, and other changes that occurred before and after 1918.
