From the sparkle of baroque trumpets to the grandeur of the newly rebuilt mighty organ, and from the expressiveness of attractive young solo voices to the authoritative power of full chorus, the English Arts Chorale's performance of Handel's Messiah offers the complete range of musical experience. With Messiah, the English Arts Chorale returns to its first love: Messiah was its first concert in 1981.

This performance features four delightful young soloists, the fully professional English Arts Orchestra, and the English Arts Chorale after the much-heralded launch of its recent CD of new music by Paul Carr.
