Valediction - music by Parry, Debussy and Dubois|Wooburn Singers (chamber choir)

At Wooburn Singers concert on 16th March, come and hear Sir Hubert Parry's poignant Songs of Farewell, written shortly before his own death 100 years ago and Debussy's lively Trois Chansons de Charles d'Orleans and his Danses sacrée et profane for harp and piano. In contrast we hear Théodore Dubois's 'Seven Last Words of Christ', a beautiful and rarely performed setting of texts from the crucifixion.

The concert will be at Holy Trinity Church in Cookham, which dates from 1140 and has a fine Shepherd organ.
