Juliette Bausor is widely recognised as one of the UK’s leading flute players. When she’s not performing with Ensemble 360, she can be found playing Principal Flute with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. First inspired to take up the instrument by James Galway and his golden flute, she won the Woodwind Final of BBC Young Musician of the Year in 1998.

Juliette has chosen to feature the best of the flute, starting with Poulenc’s Sonata, a classic of 20th century flute repertoire. This will be followed by Villa-Lobos’s highly entertaining The Jet Whistle and Weber’s richly melodic Trio for flute, cello and piano.
