In today’s lunchtime concert, the Riga Vocal Quartet presents the London premiere of Gabriel Jackson’s Exile Meditations, a moving work combining texts from mid 20th century Latvian refugees with texts from modern-day Middle Eastern refugees, highlighting the similarities in the universal refugee experience. The programme will also include penitential motets by renaissance composers.
