The Strand Consort performs beloved English choral works by Parry, Howells, Dyson and Holst in St Mary-le-Strand, London. This dynamic and young choir, directed by Joseph Fort, presents Parry's monumental Songs of Farewell alongside Howells's Requiem, Holst's 'The Evening Watch' and Dyson's 'To music' in a war-time farewell-themed concert. Off the back of their successful Bach Motets concert in January, this recital promises to be both beautiful and heartfelt.
