Beatrix Belovári (flute) and Zsombor Tóth-Vajna (harpsichord) present a programme dedicated to the German flute. Handel’s compositions had a huge influence on the London music scene of the period and his writing for the German flute encouraged other composers in London such as Stanley and Geminiani to write for this instrument for the first time themselves.
