The Lewes Concert Orchestra, founded in 1993, is a leading amateur orchestra based in Lewes, the County Town of East Susssex. It comprises approximately 50 musicians, with a professional leader. Our conductor, Ian McCrae, who has been an active conductor since 1981. He has worked extensively throughout the UK and Europe, and has been musical director of many orchestras throughout the region.

The orchestra gives four concerts per year, in Lewes, generally in Lewes Town Hall.
