The North Valley Chorale is a volunteer community choir from the beautiful desert city of Phoenix, Arizona, USA, on their second international tour. North Valley Chorale was founded in 2008 by a small group of church singers and their director, Eleanor Johnson, to pursue a combined passion for choral music and service. The Chorale, celebrating its 10th anniversary, now has over 65 volunteer singers, ages 18-80, from all walks of life whose mission is “to serve the community by providing affordable, accessible and inspiring performances of choral music from many traditions, eras and cultures.”
The chorale has been featured on local television shows, represented their state at the National Memorial Day Festival in Washington DC, traveled to Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic in 2016, performed at Radio City Music Hall and Carnegie Hall in New York in 2017, and performed at the Sing Phoenix festival for Morten Lauridsen in 2018.
North Valley Chorale is also proud to be known as 'The choir that cares'. Dedicated to the cultural, musical, and social enrichment of the community, North Valley Chorale members regularly share their gifts of song, companionship and goods with those who are less fortunate.
