A fundraising concert about love, despair, joy and seduction. German lyric baritone Maximilian Battefeld, with piano accompaniment, leads you through an evening of songs, serenades and arias.

Maximilian began his singing career early-on as a member of the Wiesbaden Boys’ Choir in Germany. In frequent concerts, masterclasses and competitions he performed a variety of Lied, opera and oratorio repertoire both in his hometown and in London. Alongside his degrees in electrical engineering, he worked with Prof Josef Protschka at Hochschule fuer Musik und Tanz Koeln, and Samuel Queen in London. Now he is preparing his entry to a performance masters at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He has been and is currently supported by the Drosihn-Stiftung Wiesbaden and the Ede and Ravenscroft Music Bursary.
