  1. Gloria - Francis Poulenc
  2. I was glad - Sir Charles Hubert Hastings Parry
  3. Easter Hymn, from Cavalleria rusticana - Pietro Mascagni
  4. Bell Chorus, from I Pagliacci - Ruggiero Leoncavallo
  5. Anfonaf Angel (Guardian Angel) - Robat Arwyn

Our programme is a delightful mix of old and new, sacred and operatic, familar and not so familiar. Poulenc's Gloria will get your feet tapping with its strong rhythms and memorable melodies.

We are featuring an old favourite, Blow the wind southerly, but arranged for us by one of our choristers, Peter Barlow. The choir are really enjoying singing this arrangement. You will love two lovely pieces arranged by Peter Hunt: How can I keep from singing, and Swing low sweet chariot.

We always try include some Welsh pieces, as we are a choir with a rich Welsh heritage and this concert is no exception. The beautiful Anfonaf Angel, written for Bryn terfel is one of our favourites, O Gymru and that wonderful ymn Calon Lan, arranged by our MD Keith Orrell.
