  2. A night on the bare mountain - Modest Mussorgsky
  3. The Firebird Suite (1919) - Igor Stravinsky

Along with Glazunov’s dainty balletic depiction of the four seasons, we perform Mussorgsky’s hair-raising portrayal of a witches’ sabbath, as heard in Disney’s Fantasia. We end our season with Stravinsky’s musical rendition of the Russian legend of the Firebird, where love triumphs over evil. An uplifting evening awaits!
