Danbi Heo is a Busan-born, South Korean pianist. She has previously studied at the Busan middle school of Arts and Hanyang University where she had been awarded a highest student award and scholarship. Danbi Heo has won many first prizes including at Seoul National Symphony Orchestra Competition and Han-eum Music, Korean Brahms Association and Seoul Piastra Competition, and 2nd Prize at the Music Education News Concours and Universal Music Competition.
She has also performed solo recitals and chamber music in Korea, China, Britain, Spain, Germany, USA, and performed in venues such as St Paul church, Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall, Youngsan Art Hall, Dream Forest Art Center, Win Art Hall, Yein Art Hall, Busan Art Hall, Samyook Hall, Guemho-Yonsei Art Hall, TLI Art Centre, Kepco Art Centre, Baek-Nam Hall, Halle Conservatoire, 3.15 Art Centre, Lang recital hall in Hunter college, Shenzhen Concert Hall, Lang-Lang Square, Korean Cultural Centre, Centro Municipal de Musica y Danza in Spain. She has also worked with orchestras such as the Seoul National Symphony Orchestra, Sahmyook Orchestra in Korea.
She is currently studying her Master’s degree with Norma Fisher at the Royal College of Music in London.
