  1. String Quartet No 2 in G Op 18 No 2 - Ludwig van Beethoven
  2. String Quartet in C minor Op 51 No 1 - Johannes Brahms
  3. String Quartet No 4 - Grazyna Bacewicz

The final concert in Edinburgh Quartet’s exploration of Exile features Polish composer Grazyna Bacewicz’s fourth string quartet, influenced by conflicted senses of place, after her family were forced to flee during the Warsaw Uprising and subsequent destruction of the city.

Their exploration of Beethoven’s Op 18 quartets continues, alongside Brahms’ first string quartet, described as restless and intense.
