With piano accompaniment, we recall our tours to Eastern Europe in an exciting and varied programme of music.

This concert will be a trip around the various countries we have visited, featuring music from our own repertoire that we have taken on these tours and music from our various host countries which we have added.

The choir tours every two years, performing mostly in churches and cathedrals, and the concert starts with a recollection of our first tour in 1991 to Hungary. Visits to the Czech Republic, Belarus/Russia, Romania and Transylvania, Estonia, Latvia, Poland and Slovakia, amongst others, have also been enjoyed by the choir, which has since grown to over 100 members.

The performance will be illustrated with photos in the programme and anecdotes to give a flavour of the musical adventures enjoyed by choir members over the years.
