Oxford Lieder Festival - The Schumanns: Alessandro Fisher and Ashok Gupta

Alessandro Fisher is a former Oxford Lieder Young Artist and current BBC New Generation Artist. He and prize-winning pianist Ashok Gupta present songs by Clara Schumann as well as Robert Schumann’s settings of Heine in his Liederkreis Op 24. They also include Schumann settings of Eduard Mörike, ahead of our afternoon study event exploring this fascinating and significant poet, and this evening's concert.
