  1. Variations on an original theme, 'Enigma' Op 36 - Sir Edward Elgar
  2. Belshazzar’s Feast - Sir William Walton
  3. Six songs from A Shropshire lad - George Butterworth

The second concert with our new Resident Orchestra sees the return of legendary conductor Marin Alsop and much-loved baritone Roderick Williams in a very English programme combining Elgar’s emotive Enigma Variations, including the poignant ‘Nimrod’ with Walton’s Belshazzar’s Feast – a performance that will feature our very own Saffron Walden Choral Society.
