This concert is the 17th annual orchestral concert bringing together professional and semi-professional musicians from the West Midlands to form the Inkberrow Sinfonia and including a guest soloist for the major work. Proceeds from the concert go to the Chernobyl Children’s Project charity and to the ongoing restoration of the parish church of Inkberrow. The Chernobyl Children’s Project charity plays host to children and their carers each summer from the contaminated area of Belarus, to give the children a good holiday and help to improve their health, as well as helping fund projects in Belarus.

The Parish Church of St Peter is in need of major restoration regarding repairs to the stonework and windows and replacement of an inefficient and elderly heating system. Funds from last year's concert went towards the North Aisle ceiling which suffered water damage following the major theft of lead from the roof.
