  1. Standing Waves - Marcus Davidson and Roger Huckle

Standing Waves mixes music from the Eastern and Western hemispheres with virtuoso violin, tabla, voice, overtoning, piano, samples, natural and space sounds to produce exotic soundscapes which span many different genres of music. Their concerts are exciting and push the boundaries using specially produced films and musicians from different disciplines – east meets west, electroacoustic soundfest!

Standing Waves is a multimedia concert devised and composed by Marcus Davidson and Roger Huckle, using a unique combination of Earth sounds and film.

The Bristol Ensemble is joined by the amazing saxophonist Pee Wee Ellis who will weave his magic in and around our music, and will premiere a piece especially written for him, combined with a wonderful soundscape created by the strings of the Bristol Ensemble.
