“Mercurially brilliant” The Strad

Winner of the 2012 BBC Young Musician of the Year competition, Laura van der Heijden is developing an impressive career in solo and chamber music even while still studying music at the University of Cambridge. Tom Poster performs in many guises – concerto soloist, duo partner and chamber musician – with a range of outstanding partners such as Steven Isserlis and Ian Bostridge.

Laura and Tom’s fascinating programme provides an opportunity to hear the full range of tones and colours from cello repertoire spanning 200 years.

Post-concert conversation - stay on for an informal Q&A session with Laura van der Heijden and Tom Poster after the concert.
