A choral programme of madrigals and jazz, from the Renaissance to Duke Ellington, performed by Continuum, directed by Harry Guthrie.

When Continuum gave their inaugural concert in London back in January, they packed out St Gabriel’s Church, Pimlico. In the audience was the editor of BBC Radio Three’s Listeners’ Forum. Here’s what he said afterwards on his website.

“Choral aficionados should take note of “Continuum”…it was an outstanding set of performances.”

This time, you’re in for some fabulous summer jazz and English madrigals with something for everyone’s musical tastes – timeless jazz arrangements alongside a wealth of English folk and madrigal classics which epitomise summer.

Continuum’s conductor (and founder) is Harry Guthrie; a choral scholar at Trinity College, Cambridge. Fellow choir members are some of Cambridge University’s finest choral scholars from Trinity and King’s Colleges, plus top conservatoire singers from across the UK.
