Our new concert season starts on Saturday 12th October with the welcome return of our hugely popular, former Musical Director George Vass. Mr Vass was responsible for the great musical success of the Dartford Symphony Orchestra in the 1990s and early 2000s, bringing finesse and quality to the role of principal conductor.

George comes back to Dartford bringing his inimitable style and energy to a programme that includes the tour de force Beethoven Violin Concerto with the acclaimed young soloist Mathilde Milwidsky.

The concert also features the ever popular Schubert 3rd Symphony and in addition the Orchestra is delighted to be giving the North-West Kent premiere of the Serenade for Orchestra by Malcolm Arnold.
