  1. Quintet for clarinet and strings in B minor Op 115 - Johannes Brahms
  2. Ein deutsches Requiem Op 45 - Johannes Brahms, arranged for soloists, choir and chamber ensemble by Joachim Linckelmann

Since its first performance 150 years ago Brahms's German Requiem has held a special place in the repertoire of unquestionably great choral music, not least through replacing the familiar Latin text with uplifting passages from Luther's Bible and concern for the destination of the departed with consolation for the bereaved. But it was also largely inaccessible to chamber choirs until the recent publication of Joachim Linckelmann's arrangement for an orchestral ensemble of matching size - a remarkable feat which achieves complete transparency without loss of tonal beauty.

The Tredici Chamber Choir is proud to continue its artistic collaboration with the Orpheus Sinfonia, this time represented entirely by its illustrious principals: five woodwind parts, five string parts and timpani.

They will also play the much-loved Clarinet Quintet which Brahms was inspired to write in his autumnal years, after vowing to give up composing altogether.
