You are warmly invited to our Christmas Concert. Set in the peaceful Cotswolds village of Church Enstone, our programme of festive music features music new and old, with familiar favourites sitting alongside seasonal classics. We are delighted to be singing for the first time in St Kenelm's Church, with our principal conductor Sarah Tenant-Flowers.

The centre-piece of our programme is the 'Christmas Scene' by Gerald Finzi, In terra pax. Written just two years before Finzi’s death in 1956, In terra pax skilfully juxtaposes words of Robert Bridges (which are set for the baritone soloist) with the familiar Christmas passage from St Luke (set for the soprano soloist and chorus). We are also performing the Quatre motets pour le temps de Noël by Francis Poulenc, in which he joyfully celebrates the events of the Christmas story; and a selection of traditional carols for choir and audience.
