The Gondoliers in a Day - a concert performance from scratch of The Gondoliers

The Centenary Company, well known for its sparkling productions of Gilbert and Sullivan operas, is again inviting singers to join the company to ‘come and sing’ in a from scratch concert performance of one of the Gilbert and Sullivan operas. This year it’s The Gondoliers.

Our Music Director, Elinor Corp, will put singers through their paces during the afternoon rehearsal, in preparation for the early evening concert performance. So, whether you’ve sung this recently, 50 years ago, or not at all (but can sight read a bit or follow the person next to you!), come and join us in the chorus! You can be assured of a really fun-filled musical experience. To take part in the concert, you need to pre-register no later than 12 January. Scores will be available for hire on the day.

If you're in the audience, you'll also get a chance to join in with a chorus or two!
