Welcome to the last concert in the 2019/20 season given by Sinfonia of Leeds, the city's leading non-professional orchestra. We continue our happy association with St Edmund's Church in Roundhay, making music in the most beautiful of surroundings.

The final concert in the season features the Sinfonia da Requiem written by the 26-year old Britten in 1940, his largest purely orchestral work. Alex Hamilton (principal horn in Opera North) joins us to play the first of Strauss's horn concerti and the concert concludes with Borodin's Symphony No 2.
